Data deletion
Last updated: 3 October 2026
You can have your data deleted, and you can remove our access to your Google or Meta accounts, at any time. This page shows how. It applies to visitors who wrote to us and to clients whose accounts we connected.
1. Remove our access yourself
- Google: open myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose our app and select “Remove access”. If you gave us access inside Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console or Business Profile as a user, you can also remove our user there.
- Meta: open Facebook Settings, then “Business Integrations” (or Business Settings, then “Partners” and “Users”), choose our app or our business and select “Remove”.
- When access is removed, we can no longer read your accounts. We then delete the data we stored from them (see step 3).
2. Ask us to delete your data
- Email info@thepineapplestudio.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Tell us your name, your business name, and the email address or account (for example your Google Ads customer ID or Meta ad account ID) you want us to delete. Send it from the address we hold for you so we can confirm it is you.
- We confirm by email that we received the request, usually within two working days.
3. What happens next
- Within 30 days we delete the data we stored from your Google and Meta accounts, including reports and copies, and the enquiries and emails you sent us.
- We then send you a written confirmation.
- We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and accounting records. We keep these only for that purpose.
- Backups holding deleted data are overwritten in the normal cycle, within 30 more days.
4. What deleting does not change
Deleting our copy of your data does not delete anything in your own Google or Meta accounts. Your campaigns, reports and history there stay with you. If you also want the accounts closed, that is done in Google and Meta.
